ROJI FILMS, based in Montreal, brings together a team of highly experienced artists from around the world to develop original animated properties with a focus on storytelling and creativity.

The name Roji comes from Japanese, meaning “a quiet path through a garden.” It reflects our vision: creating works that guide audiences into new worlds with the same sense of discovery, calm, and depth that one feels walking down a hidden path.

Projects

We approach every project with quiet confidence, letting our craft and ideas speak for themselves. Our work is shaped by years of experience across the animation industry, from large-scale productions to intimate independent projects, ensuring that every story we tell is both technically refined and creatively compelling.

THE LAST FOREST

The Last Forest is ROJI FILMS’ first original IP, recently completed as a 33-minute featurette. The film combines the artistry of traditional 2D animation with the possibilities of cutting-edge technology, creating a visual style that feels both timeless and innovative.

KONU

KONU is currently in pre-production, with early work underway on character design and world-building. The project is entering a phase of artistic exploration and visual development, laying the foundation for a bold new sci-fi punk story aimed at young adult audiences.

SEVEN TAILS DEBUG

Seven Tails Debug is an original sci-fi project set in the near future, following the path of a hacker whose story intertwines with folkloric traditions of Japan. Currently in development, the project remains under wraps as we continue to shape its unique vision.
